KIERAN J PHILLIPS REMINDS US TO SLOW DOWN WITH NEW SINGLE ‘BREATHE’

The latest single from Kieran J Phillips titled 'Breathe,’ out today is a gentle reminder for all of us to believe in ourselves no matter how tough life can get.
Written during a moment of change in his life, the heartfelt singer/songwriter hopes that this song will resonate with individuals who may feel overwhelmed and lost in our fast-paced society and that they find comfort in knowing that they are not alone.
"The core philosophy behind Breathe is about balance and being properly aligned in ourselves. It's about not losing touch with what really matters inside. Despite what we're led to believe, it's not just the financial or material goods that are going to bring us joy and purpose in our lives," - Kieran J Phillips.
This is Phillips' first release of 2022 following a string of releases in 2021 and is also the first collaborative track for the artist. The track was produced by UK songwriter and producer, Martin Hollis (Adele, The Rolling Stones, Ed Sheeran) which Phillips comments as pivotal to the realisation of the song's direction and instrumentation.
"It was a really rewarding experience working with Martin. Although we were working remotely on this song, we were regularly in touch as things progressed. Although, much of my music is acoustically based, I feel this sound shows the diversity of my influences and reflects some of the atmosphere of my teenage years."
Bendigo born, Melbourne based singer/songwriter Kieran J Phillips takes inspiration from a diverse range of artists including The Beatles, Alicia Keys and The Eagles.
The last two years has seen the artist building his songwriting career across many stages in Victoria such as The Espy in St Kilda and The Golden Vine in his hometown of Bendigo. He has also spent an integral amount of time connecting with audiences around the world as he shares his stories of music, life and his family. This has landed him a feature on Instagram Live series, A Taste of Series, hosted by New York based author and inspirational speaker, Lavina Poetic Empress.
Those who know Phillips would know that his number one fan is his six year old daughter, Maeve, who is a huge inspiration to his songwriting and designs his single artwork.
