The Real Songwriters of Melbourne would like to congratulate Connor & Oscar Absolum aka Mister Co. on the release of their debut single, 'Tonight.'
A song written for their wedding day, 'Tonight' is now available for lovers to listen to all around the world.
From high school to the altar, 'Tonight' explores the story of two lovers as they recount on the life they have built together as life partners. The song was written to be performed by the couple on their wedding day and will soon be available for the world to adore.
"Our story is that we are an actual love story. We met in high school where music was the foundation of our relationship. We were from two different worlds, yet music is what led us to find each other," - Mister Co.
Mister Co. is the amalgamation of two passionate musicians and producers, Connor and Oscar Absolum. A genre blended musical duo, Mister Co brings Oscar's big band and musical theatre influences together with Connor's love of anthem rock, soul and pop. Although the pair have worked on countless musical projects with various artists both on stage and in the studio, the pair only decided to begin their songwriting career as a duo after their April wedding.
"We always wanted to do something musically together but never did. Then on our honeymoon, we decided to become a duo to the public eye and it was on that same night that we came up with the name Mister Co."
Co-produced by Dominik Honold from Protonaut Studios (Germany), 'Tonight' draws on the pair's musical inspirations and their love for each other to create this hauntingly beautiful ballad. The debut single was written, recorded and co-produced by the pair in their home studio.
By releasing a precious memoir into the world, the pair hope that their love story can reach those who have also found their true love.
"This song is written for all those couples in the world that have found true love with their significant other. It's essentially the idea of us as people searching for love and somewhere to belong, but when we eventually find that someone the wholeness that love creates allows us to forever belong to each other. Life becomes lighter, things become brighter and we no longer feel like an outsider."
