Torch Fest Melbourne

  • Max Watts Swanston Street Melbourne, VIC, 3004 Australia (map)

The Real Songwriters of Melbourne are proud to be an official partner of Torch Fest Melbourne as Founder of RSOM Jena Marino will be a co-host at this year’s event.

Torch Fest is a first of its kind mental health music festival, shining a light on mental health.

Your Melbourne 2022 lineup includes: Alexander Biggs, Benjamin Trillado, Georgia Mae, Jade Alice, Jess Locke, Nussy, R.em.edy, RARIA, Ruby Mae, Seb Szabo, Sir Jude, The Mamas, Velvet Bloom, WILSN and Wolfjay.

The name Torch Fest comes from the idea that everyone has a Torch Song; the light that gets you through, and in 2021 we proudly launched Torch Fest Brisbane into the world. In 2022 we are bringing the festival to FOUR separate states.

Each of the festivals will feature a huge lineup of artists, at incredible venues, and will have wellbeing activations throughout the day including art therapy, mindfulness sessions, games, activities and a whole host more.

With mental health having such a huge impact on the music industry, especially in recent COVID times, the festival is a chance to eradicate the stigma associated with talking about mental health, while retaining the essence of fun and celebration.

All performers on the day perform their Torch Song, the light that gets you through, as part of their full set and the festival provides torches, for each attendee, to flick on when each of the Torch Songs are played throughout the day.

The festival attracts attendees that want to see their favourite artists in an up-close-and-personal setting, not in a sprawling field with thousands of people, and enables artists and fans alike to feel safe, and be vulnerable if they feel the need, through a unique experience.
