ABBEY STONE RELEASES BRAND NEW SINGLE ‘GOODBYE’
The wait is finally over as Melbourne’s BADLADY Abbey Stone is back with her brand new single, ‘Goodbye.’
Out for release today, ‘Goodbye’ will make even the most single person feel like they’re going through a breakup and you will be guaranteed to cry along with her. Produced by Melbourne production house BANTA, this song is one that will send chills down your spine and get stuck in your head for days.
“Let’s go back to the moment before you said goodbye.”
Written just after a breakup, ‘Goodbye’ is an ode to letting go and saying goodbye to a relationship that ended too soon as she describes that harrowing feeling of wanting to go back and just be with them. ‘Goodbye’ might take your heart out and stomp on it, but it’s only going to leave you wanting more.
“Do you miss me like I miss you?”
This is just a taste of her next project as the new release serves as the lead single for Stone’s new EP titled ‘Good Woman,’ a sister album to her 2020 record, ‘Badlady.’ Mixing melodic pop ballads with heart-wrenching lyrics, her new EP is going to be one to look out for.
Stone, a seasoned musician and singer-songwriter, blends pop, rock and soul into her music. Her career has seen Stone write, record and perform throughout Australia and USA as she has collaborated with music industry giants including James Roche (Bachelor Girl) and Jake Mason (Cookin’ On 3 Burners). She is also shared with stage with iconic Australian performers including John Farnham, Darryl Braithwaite, Marcia Hines, Andy Grammar and Richard Marx.
