PREMIERE: 'BABY I LOVE YOU', THE FINAL TRACK FROM WOLF & WILLOW
Folk duo Wolf and Willow are saying their final farewell with their new single, 'Baby, I Love You.' Produced at home on the eve of Melbourne's first lockdown after a few whiskeys in hand, the song symbolises the importance of companionship.
Wolf and Willow consists of the lovely bromance of Timothy Wolf and James Di Fabrizio. The duo went on a hiatus after completing a national tour in 2019, yet lockdown provided them with an opportunity to reminisce on the good ol' times and record two final tracks. Following their previous single, 'Please Don't Go', the prominent acoustic guitar and Timothy's chilling vocals will make you feel like you are right there watching the boys play live.
"Musically, our new single came together as a very natural expression of what we've been exploring through isolation. It's been a natural stepping stone musically and a great project to find purpose and connection through such a turbulent time."
Timothy Wolf & The Boogaloos will debut their performance at The Night Cat - Fri Feb 5
Now in 2021, Timothy is gearing up to launch his new solo project, Timothy Wolf & The Boogaloo's, in which they will debut at The Night Cat on Feb 5. Featuring a nine piece band with horns, organ and a choir, this show will see the beginning of a new chapter, although Timothy promises some Wolf & Willow banter as his partner in crime joins him back on stage.
