Join Bec Sykes with some special guests at the Gaso Upstairs to celebrate the launch of her new single 'Getaway'. Prepare for an intimate night of emo-folk tunes and to be held in the arms of live music once more.

'Getaway' is the Melbourne/Naarm-based songwriter's second single and the follow up to her acclaimed debut track 'Edithvale'. Produced by Tom Iansek (Big Scary, #1 Dads, The Paper Kites, Maple Glider), the new single keeps Bec’s signature vocals at the forefront on a backdrop of finger-picked acoustic guitar, piano and subtle, ambient synths. Bec describes the song as "a reminder to myself not to spiral overthinking things after a breakup."

This is Bec's first ever headline show and it is not to be missed.
