To celebrate nine years of The Real Songwriters of Melbourne, we invite songwriters, music lovers and friends of the music industry to join us at our 9th Birthday Bash!
The night will commemorate nine years of RSOM and our Community as we endeavour to support emerging songwriters across Naarm/Melbourne and regional Victoria.
We are proud that the Real Songwriters of Melbourne Community represents artists of all ages, genres, genders, backgrounds and experience levels across Naarm/Melbourne and regional Victoria.
In no particular order, our lineup ranges from new and longtime members, soloists and bands, young and mature age artists and electronic to rock and roll acts. It is a true reflection of the diversity and talent that we are proud to nurture in the Real Songwriters of Melbourne community.
The Real Songwriters of Melbourne (RSOM) is an independent organisation that seeks to celebrate, support and develop emerging songwriters. Established in 2014 by artist and emerging entrepreneur Jena Marino, RSOM offers a wide range of activities including live performances, networking events, professional development and artist services.
Created by artists, for artists, RSOM welcomes songwriters of all ages, genres, genders, backgrounds and experience levels. For many, RSOM is their first music industry touch point as they inspire, upskill and connect artists through collaboration, networking and opportunity. RSOM fills the gap in the music industry as their artist-led friendly approach has created a safe and welcoming environment for many aspiring creatives.
The night will begin with an opportunity for members to network and catch up followed by live performances from 8pm.
