Shani is a British-Israeli singer songwriter, playing piano, guitar and ukelele. Born in London, she grew up in Israel and uprooted her family to fulfill a dream of creating a musical career in Melbourne.
Shani tells her story through music about the challenges of life, yearning to live it to its fullest and combining motherhood and immigration – starting new with nothing but a suitcase, guitar and a baby.
Since arriving to Melbourne, Shani has performed all over Victoria, adding new songs to her stories as she goes along life. Performing in competitions, festivals and becoming a radio presenter on 88FM, where she interviews musicians and plays fresh music.
Her story is one of perseverance, hard work to achieve her goals, and overcoming the great obstacles life throws at her with a smile and humor.
