The Real Songwriters of Melbourne presents a night of soothing folk music from two promising songwriters: Leo Nazz & Coconut Shy.

LEO NAZZ

Leo Nazz is a pop/folk artist, multi-instrumentalist, and singer-songwriter based in Melbourne. Playing guitar and harmonica, Leo tells stories originating from personal experiences and introspection. Think songs by the fire with a touch of poetry - warm, intimate, and slightly sentimental.

Leo Nazz has performed on many stages across Melbourne, including The Bergy Seltzer, Mr Boogie Man, Thornbury Local, Bar Open, Evelyn Hotel, Bar 303, Kindred Bandroom, Whole Lotta Love & Compass Pizza. 2022 will see Leo premiere his debut EP which is set to be released later this year.

COCONUT SHY

Melbourne based singer/songwriter Coconut Shy blends introspective, unique and captivating lyrics with the gentle sound of a soothing acoustic guitar. A songwriter of over 10 years, his writing style fluctuates between mood poetry, fable telling and personal experiences from real-life events. His debut EP 'Japan Town' (released in March 2021) exemplifies his full, sophisticated yet calming sound that can work around a campfire, on a road trip or a rainy day. He plans to release two new singles in 2022.
